Much respect for responsible budgeting, budget discipline (not spending money you don’t have or in excess of budgeted amounts), and long term planning!

Debt financing is a tool but not responsible fiscal strategy unless we are making long term investments that increase our revenue generating capacity or necessary improvements for service delivery.

We should not be adding debt to cover municipal operating expenses. We need a big picture strategy and creativity to bring our budget expense in alignment with current expected revenues.
